The government has announced an increase in the remuneration for outsourcing employees, benefiting 9 lakh workers. Instead of the current ₹16,000, the minimum honorarium will be ₹20,000.
Labor sheds with facilities like canteens and toilets will be established in every district. A “Zero Poverty” initiative has also been announced. Additionally, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) city will be developed in Lucknow. Minority students will receive scholarships worth ₹365 crore.
**Finance Minister’s 5 Major Announcements:**
1. Talented female students securing good marks in the 12th grade will receive free scooters, similar to initiatives in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. This scheme will include students from both the UP Board and CBSE.
2. Youth will be given interest-free loans. Coaching centers for competitive exams will be set up in all districts under the “Chief Minister Abhyuday Yojana.”
3. Every year, 1 lakh new small enterprises will be established.
4. Farmers will receive relief from stray cattle, with a ₹2,000 crore budget allocated for livestock maintenance. Large cattle protection centers will be built, and livestock will be tagged for identification.
5. Four new expressways will be constructed, including a new one connecting the Agra Expressway to the Ganga Expressway. The Bundelkhand-Rewa Expressway, Vindhya Expressway, and the Ganga Expressway extension will also be developed.
Other major developments include the creation of a Mathura-Vrindavan corridor, development of the pilgrimage circuit around temples in the Mirzapur region, and the establishment of a Vedic Science Center in Naimisharanya, Sitapur.
