
Shahjahanpur । In a heart-wrenching road accident in Shahjahanpur district, three members of a family killed and three others were seriously injured.
When a Car rammed into a parked truck on the Lucknow-Delhi national highway here.
The accident took place at Jamuka trisection when the family was travelling from Lucknow to Nainital,
Police said.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Dwivedi, the accident took place early Monday morning at the Jamuka Tirahe on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway, under the Roza police station limits. A car heading towards Nainital went out of control and collided with a stationary truck parked on the roadside.
All six in the car sustained severe injuries in the collision.Police immediately reached on the spot , rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital.
during the treatment, doctor declared Shivam Pandey (35), his two-year-old son Madhavan, and Shweta Dwivedi (42) dead on arrival.
The remaining three injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. Police believe the accident may have occurred because the driver dozed off at the wheel.
The news of the accident spread quickly, drawing a large crowd to the scene. Local residents, along with senior police officials, assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital. A large number of people also gathered at the hospital upon hearing of the incident.
All the victims were residents of Gorakhpur and were en route to Nainital for a family trip.
