At the time. Dr. Farid Ali Khan, S.G.S.M. Congress party expressed that the entire nation is mourning Dr. Singh’s passing. He further stated that typically, the Ministry of Home Affairs arranges the funeral of prominent leaders, but the decision to choose Bodh Nigham Ghat for Dr. Singh’s last rites reflects the BJP’s narrow-minded approach.
