Senior Samajwadi Party Leader Azam Khan Released from Jail After 23 Months, Heads to Rampur Amid Tight Security
Lucknow, September 23 – Senior Samajwadi Party leader and former Cabinet Minister Azam Khan was released from jail on Tuesday after spending 23 months in custody.
Heavy security was deployed outside the prison premises at the time of his release. Azam Khan was accompanied by his son Abdullah and aide Adeeb. Following his release, he left for Rampur in a two-vehicle convoy.
