Man Who Threatened to Kill CM Yogi Adityanath Arrested

The Shahjahanpur Police have arrested Azim, a resident of Gunara village in Jalalabad police station area, for allegedly sending a threatening letter to the police department on April 4, threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 10.

**Body:** Azim sent the letter via registered post, which was addressed to the police department. The letter bore the name of Abid Ansari and contained a threat to assassinate CM Yogi Adityanath on April 10. The police investigation revealed that the letter was actually written by Azim as part of a conspiracy. Azim aimed to frame Abid Ansari and his brother, so they could be imprisoned, allowing him to seize their land.

Shahjahanpur’s Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Dwivedi, confirmed that a thorough investigation was conducted into the threatening letter. Based on the evidence, both Abid Ansari and his brother were found to be innocent. The investigation led to the identification of Azim as the mastermind behind this entire plot. Azim is currently in police custody and is being interrogated.
