Shahjahanpur  In a stringent move by the district administration, the Bajaj Sugar Mill in Maksudapur sugar warehouse been seized after failing to pay outstanding dues to farmers
According to Adm Arvind Kumar,. ,Authorities seized sugar worth approximately ₹40 crore stored in the mill’s warehouse.
The action comes in response to unpaid farmer dues amounting to ₹126.78 crore. Despite prior warnings to the mill management, no satisfactory steps were taken to resolve the matter.
According to reporter , As a result, Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Arvind Kumar led the enforcement operation and warehouse. Officials stated that the warehouse will remain locked until the dues are cleared and the farmers receive their payments.
