Shahjahanpur: A road being constructed under the CM Grid Scheme has started developing cracks even before its completion. The 400-metre road is being built at a cost of around Rs 6 crore.
Mayor inspected the road on Tuesday and expressed displeasure over its condition.
The road is being constructed from Ahmedullah Shah Park
to Malgodam.

The mayor sought detail of the construction material and quality standard from official.
She directed to municipal Corporation educative engineer issue a notice to construction firm.

Cracks were found in the road. She directed to monitor the construction regularly and ensure quality checks.
Local residents also demanded a technical inquiry into the construction and action against those responsible for any lapse.
