Shahjahanpur, A large number of Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders and workers gathered under the leadership of SP district president Tanveer Khan. The group marched in a procession, raising slogans against Home Minister Amit Shah and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. They reached the collector office and submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of India to Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abhishek Pratap Singh.
On the occasion SP district president Tanveer Khan stated that the objectionable comments made by Home Minister Amit Shah against the country’s constitution maker, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, have insulted the entire nation. Former legislator Rajesh Yadav added that the BJP only pretends to respect the constitution of India.
At the time former MLA Roshan Lal Verma, former minister Awadhesh Verma, and party workers were present.
