Shahjahanpur: In response to the prevailing cold wave conditions, the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal, in coordination with the district administration, organised a blanket distribution programme to provide relief to the needy.
Blankets were distributed among poor, destitute and underprivileged people in the presence of District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh, Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi and Municipal Commissioner Dr Vipin Kumar Mishra.
Commending the humanitarian initiative, the District Magistrate urged affluent sections of society and social organisations to come forward to support those in need, ensuring that no one is left helpless during the harsh winter season. He described such service-oriented efforts as a source of inspiration for society.
Office-bearers of the organisation reiterated their commitment to social responsibility and pledged to continue undertaking similar public welfare activities in the future
