Shahjahanpur: Congress state President, Pays Tribute to Freedom fighter

Congress state president Ajay Rai visited at Shahjahanpur on Thursday.
Congress state, president, visited the shrine of freedom fighter Ashfaq ullah, Khan , offered a chadar and paid tribute at the shrine .
Later, Ajay Rai also visited the residence of Ashfaqulla Khan, who is the National Vice President of Minority Congress. He held a meeting with party leaders and workers there.
On the occasion
Congress state president, Ajay Rai criticized the Uttar Pradesh government. He said that crime has increased a lot during the last nine years and criminals are moving freely without fear.

He also raised questions about rising prices and the availability of gas and petrol. He said that while the government claims there is no shortage, long queues outside gas agencies show the real situation. He alleged that gas supply is being given priority in states where elections are going on.

Ajay Rai said that the Congress party will not stay silent on these issues and will strongly oppose government policies. He encouraged party workers and said that the party will fight the upcoming Assembly elections with full strength and will try to remove the BJP government from power in 2027.

He also gave a message to District President Rajneesh Gupta to strengthen the organization and stay active in the field.

Many Congress leaders and workers, including Dharmendra Dixit, Tahir Ali Guddu Miyan, Anoop Verma, and Pawan Singh, were present at the event.
