Three Killed in Shahjahanpur as Speeding Bolero hits Motorcycle

Shahjahanpur । Three people were lost their lives in a tragic road accident late Sunday night when a speeding Bolero vehicle collided with a motorcycle in Shahjahanpur district, police officer said on Monday.
According to Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi, the incident took place under the Puwayan police station limits. Ajit (23), a resident of Choudhra village, was returning from Rahua village in Banda along with two others after attending a relative’s funeral. As their motorcycle reached the Puwayan crossing, A speedy hits the motorcycle. He said
Local Police responded quickly reached on the spot . Police rushed all three injured in district hospital. Dalpat (56), was declared dead and two were referred to Government Medical College for further treatment.
However, Ajit succumbed to his injuries later that night, while the third victim, Gokul Prasad (65), died on Monday morning during treatment.
Police have seized the Bolero involved in the accident, which reportedly had a “Uttar Pradesh Government” marking on it. The driver fled the scene and is currently absconding. A search is underway to apprehend him.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination he added.
