According to Police Superintendent Rajesh S, the bus, which was carrying passengers from Nepal to Chandigarh, reached Tikkuniya on Assam Road under Khutar police station jurisdiction. The police superintendent said that 10 people were injured in the accident, including the bus driver, Vishal (44), a woman named Seeta (28), and her 3-year-old son, Sushil, who suffered serious injuries. They were admitted to the Government Medical College. The other injured individuals sustained minor injuries and were discharged after receiving first aid.
Local police received information about the accident, the police immediately reached the spot, took control of the bus and tractor-trailer, and rushed the injured to the hospital.
