The district administration will conduct a special campaign on Saturday, January 31, to facilitate the inclusion, correction and transfer of names in the Assembly electoral rolls.
AdditionalElection Officer and Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Rajneesh Kumar Mishra said the initiative is aimed at assisting voters in completing all voter list–related formalities with ease.
As part of the drive, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be stationed at all polling centres from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. They will carry the published electoral rolls along with an adequate supply of the prescribed application forms.
Electors may visit their respective polling stations on the day to apply for the inclusion of new names, deletion of existing entries, correction of details, or transfer of voter registration to another location.
The district administration has urged citizens to make full use of the special campaign to ensure that their names are correctly reflected in the voter list, underscoring that an accurate electoral roll is vital for effective participation in the democratic process.
