An honorary ceremony was organized at G. F. College, where students and faculty members were recognized for their outstanding achievements. Esha Saxena, a student of M.Com, and Baby Bushra, pursuing an M.A. in History, were awarded for receiving gold medals from the university. Professor Mohammad Sajid Khan from the Hindi Department was recognized for receiving the ‘Anand Prakash Jain Shikhar Samman’ in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Additionally, Dr. Mohammad Sayeed Akhtar from the Botany Department was honoured for the publication of his book entitled “Opportunistic Fungi, Nematodes and Plant Interaction” by Springer Nature.
On the occasion Principal of the college, Professor Mohsin Hasan Khan emphasized the importance of these achievements, encouraging other students to draw inspiration from the honored individuals. Professor Mohammad Sajid Khan has published 29 original books and 664 works, receiving approximately 26 national awards. Meanwhile, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Sayeed Akhtar has published 30 books and over 170 research papers and book chapters, participating in around 35 seminars to date.
