In an aggressive move to restore the long-lostBhaisi River, the Shahjahanpur district administration has launched a large-scale river rejuvenation project modeled after the successful revival of the Kukrail River. Despite the initiative’s momentum, local encroachments on river land are posing significant challenges.
During a field inspection on Friday, Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Arvind Kumar visited the site to review the excavation work. Accompanied by Lok Bharati organization representatives, he was informed that certain individuals from Sakarapur village were obstructing the ongoing excavation.
