Shahjahanpur । The initiative aimed to provide people’s with free medical check-ups, consultations, and awareness on preventive healthcare.
A Medical health camp was organised at Vinoba Seva Ashram with the support of Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital. ADM (Finance & Revenue) Arvind Kumar attended the programme as the chief guest along with his wife, Soumya. Ashram manager Ramesh Bhaiya welcomed the guests by presenting shawls and saplings, symbolising respect, health and greenery.
The camp was inaugurated by ADM Arvind Kumar by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the gathering,

he said such camps reflect the true spirit of public service and play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to the poor and needy, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. He praised the efforts of the medical college and hospital for promoting both treatment and health awareness.
A total of 648 patients were registered during the camp. Cataract was detected in 55 patients who will be provided free surgery at the hospital. Several free tests including BP, blood sugar, ECG and BMD were conducted, and medicines were distributed at no cost. Special discount coupons for MRI and CT scans were also given.Doctors from multiple departments and paramedical staff provided medical services and counselled patients on the importance of regular health check-ups. The initiative was widely appreciated by local residents for its service-oriented approach and community impact.
