Indian Air Force Showcases Power on Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur

 Uttar Pradesh — The Indian Air Force (IAF) demonstrated its aerial prowess on the Ganga Expressway in a remarkable display on a 3.5-kilometer-long airstrip. Amid stormy weather conditions, 15 fighter jets including Jaguars and Mirages executed ‘touch-and-go’ maneuvers, showcasing the operational capabilities of the IAF in challenging conditions.

The exercise began with a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft performing the first ‘touch-and-go’ landing on the expressway. This was followed by a synchronized aerial display featuring Jaguars, MiGs, and Rafale fighter jets, captivating spectators with their high-speed formations and maneuvers.

The practice session lasted approximately two hours. Later in the evening, a special night landing show is scheduled to take place from 7 PM to 10 PM, further demonstrating the IAF’s preparedness and technical expertise in conducting operations under low-light conditions.
