Shahjahanpur: Chief Development Officer Utkarsh Dwivedi conducted a surprise inspection of Vikas Bhawan on Monday to assess the ground reality of office functioning and administrative arrangements.
During the inspection, he carried out a detailed review of cleanliness on the campus and examined the maintenance and upkeep of official records and files.
The CDO issued strict instructions to the concerned department heads to ensure cleanliness in offices at all times and to maintain all records in a systematic and orderly manner. Employees were also directed to report for duty on time without exception.
He further instructed officials to display advertisements and public notices outside offices to effectively disseminate information about various government schemes among the general public.
Taking a stern view of absenteeism, the CDO directed that the salaries of employees found absent be withheld and sought explanations from them.
In conclusion, the Chief Development Officer advised all departments to function with transparency and accountability in line with the government’s intent.
