Shahjahanpur: ADM Inspects Tilhar and Rauza Mandi

Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Rajneesh Mishra inspected the procurement centres at the Tilhar and Roja Mandi on Saturday.
During the inspection, ADM Mishra directed officials to ensure that farmers do not face any issues related to weighing, availability of gunny bags, or payment processes. He emphasized that all payments will be made directly into the farmers’ bank accounts, eliminating the role of middlemen.
He further warned that strict action would be taken if any complaints regarding brokers or intermediaries are received.
ADM said Central Government has set the MSP for common paddy at ₹2,369 per quintal and for Grade ‘A’ paddy at ₹2,389 per quintal. Farmers appreciated the administration’s preparedness and arrangements at the mandi he added
