Shahjahanpur: District Magistrate takes charge see Focuses on Education, Health, and Law & Order
The newly appointed District Magistrate, Dharmendra Pratap Singh, officially took charge at the district treasury at 6:00 PM. All district officials welcomed him with bouquets of flowers.
Dharmendra Pratap Singh, a native of Deoria and a 2013 batch IAS officer, has previously served in key administrative roles such as Special Secretary of Urban Development for the Uttar Pradesh government and Director of Municipal Council in New Delhi. His past assignments include postings in Ghaziabad and Prayagraj.
During his first meeting with officials at the district collectorate, Singh emphasized his commitment to implementing the Chief Minister’s directives thoroughly. He outlined his priorities as education, health, law and order, cleanliness, enforcement actions, and addressing public grievances with transparency and promptness.
At the time Chief Development Officer Dr. Aparajita Singh, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vipin Kumar Mishra, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Additional District Magistrate (Finance/Revenue) Dr. Suresh Kumar, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Rashid Ali, City Magistrate Praveen Kumar, as well as all sub-district magistrates and other officials and staff were present.
