Shahjahanpur: The house listing and house census work under Census-2027 commenced in the district on Thursday. The survey will continue from May 22 to June 20. Under the drive, officials will visit every household and collect important details related to buildings and families. The updated data will help in preparing future development plans and welfare schemes.
The campaign was formally launched after the completion of the house listing work at the residence of District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh. During the process, enumerator Himanshu allotted house numbers, while supervisor Kusum was also present.
Assistant Municipal Commissioner Rajkumar Gupta, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Arvind Kumar, Census In-charge Anurag Singh, DIO NIC Joy Shukla, and other officials were present on the occasion.
District Census Officer said that the work would be carried out with full transparency and in accordance with government guidelines. He appealed to residents to cooperate with the survey staff by providing correct information so that the important campaign could be completed successfully within the stipulated time.
