According to officials, the trap were led
Following a complaint by farmer Saurabh singh of tilhar tahsil. Farmer alleged that
Wheat centre incharge Mundra Nath Patel had at illegal gratification to 100 per quintal wheat government procurement rate..
Acting on the complaint, the anticorruption unit laid a trap on Wednesday. The complainant arrived at the mandi premises with 90 quintals of wheat and handed over ₹9,000 to the wheat Center incharge Maninder Nath Patel. .The team immediately intervened and caught the wheat  centre incharge.A case has been registered against the accused at the Katra police station.

Saurabh Singh, had approached the government procurement centre at Tilhar mandi to sell his wheat, where the accused officer, Munindranath Pandey, allegedly demanded ₹100 per quintal as illegal gratification.
He said In a separate incident one days ago, Nischal Singh (coordinator) and Arun Kumar (computer operator), both posted at the Basic Education office, were arrested on Monday by the Anti-Corruption
for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹10,000 in connection with processing an absentee-related file. They have since been sent to jail,
