Operation Safe Stay”SP checked Hotels and Restaurants

Shahjahanpur, —Superintendent of Police Ashok Dwivedi on Saturday carried out an extensive inspection of various hotels and restaurants across the district under the ongoing campaign “Operation Safe Stay.”
Additional Superintendent of Police and a police team also participated in the pression . The officers also undertook a foot patrol in the city to review the overall security and law-and-order situation.
During the inspection, the SP checked the
hotel and restaurant registers, verification of records, staff registers, CCTV systems, security arrangements, fire safety equipment, kitchen standards, and checked for any illicit liquor or NDPS-related violations. Details of suspicious, wanted, or missing persons were also scrutinised,
He said to hotel staff action was taken wherever illegal items were found.
The Additional Superintendent of Police issued necessary guidelines to all hotel and restaurant operators, stressing the need to maintain robust security measures. Key directions included: he suggest to all
Please Maintain complete and updated guest registers and
Ensuring mandatory ID verification of all visitors.
Keeping CCTV systems functional and preserving recordings and
Proper verification and documentation of all staff.
According to police the aim of operation safe stay,
strengthen security across the district, ensure effective prevention of antisocial and illegal activities, and provide a safe environment for the general public.
