Shahjahanpur। The district administration has found that around 855 buildings in  basic education schools across the shahjahanpur are structurally unfit and need to be dismantled.
District magistrate  Darmendar pratap singh chaired a meeting  with besic education  department, and released demolition order to  unsafe school buildings on Monday.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate informed that a total of *855 dilapidated school buildings* have been identified in the district, and their *immediate demolition is mandatory*. The task will be carried out on a priority basis through the respective Block Education Officers, with the cooperation of village heads.
The District Magistrate also directed the *District Basic Education Officer* to ensure that *no classes are being conducted* in these unsafe buildings. A certificate to this effect must be obtained from all concerned Block Education Officers were present.
