Shahjahanpur’s Police Superintendent, Rajesh S, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police. On this occasion, Additional Director General (ADG) of Bareilly Zone, Ramit Sharma, and Inspector General (IG) Dr. Rakesh Singh congratulated him and adorned him with the symbolic rank during the piping ceremony.
Rajesh S, originally from Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu, joined the Indian Police Service in 2011. He has previously served in various important roles, including as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Jhansi and Lucknow, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Kanpur Nagar, Commandant of the 45th Battalion PAC in Aligarh, SP in Mainpuri, Commandant of the 2nd Battalion in Sitapur, SP in Bhadohi, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate, and Senior SP in Jhansi. He is currently serving as the SP in Shahjahanpur.
