Women’s Wing Hosts Grand Hariyali Teej Celebration
The Batham Vaishya Mahasabha Women’s Wing organized a grand event to celebrate Hariyali Teej. The program was inaugurated by Shilpi Gupta, the President of BJP’s Metropolitan Division, who lit the ceremonial lamp. Jyoti Gupta, the Chairperson, welcomed and honored the guests with bouquets.
Attendees, dressed in green attire, participated in various activities. Event coordinator Ruchita Gupta organized surprise games, including the One-Minute Game, while General Secretary Rajni Gupta led a Housie game. Shobha Gupta, the Treasurer, narrated the story of Lord Shiva and Parvati, explaining the significance of Hariyali Teej.
Tanya Gupta was crowned as the Teej Queen, with Tanu Gupta as the First Runner-Up and Amisha Gupta as the Second Runner-Up. Shilpi Gupta presented the Teej Queen’s crown and sash. Neetu Gupta, the Regional President of the All India Vaishya Mahasabha, distributed awards to the winners. The event concluded with Jyoti Gupta and Minister Aarti Gupta expressing gratitude to all participants.
