Divisional Commissioner of Bareilly Division, Bhupendra S. Chaudhary, on Thursday conducted an inspection at the Shahjahanpur Collectorate.
During the visit, the Commissioner inspected the Judicial Record Room, Revenue Record Room, Land Records Section, Collection Section, Joint Office and other departments housed in the Collectorate. He reviewed the maintenance of records, filing systems and overall functioning of the offices.
The inspection focused on record management, systematic operations, cleanliness and administrative efficiency. The Commissioner issued instructions to further strengthen record management, ensuring greater transparency and public convenience, so that administrative work remains efficient, reliable and timely.
While inspecting the offices, the Commissioner also sought details regarding retirement dues, ACP cases and pension-related matters from the concerned staff. Officials informed him that no cases related to retirement benefits, ACP or pensions are pending.
District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh briefed the Commissioner on record maintenance practices and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials.
Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Rajneesh Kumar Mishra, Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Arvind Kumar, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Rashid Ali, City Magistrate Pravendra Kumar, along with other officers and staff, were present during the inspection.
