Shahjahanpur: Additional District Magistrate Rajneesh Mishra on Thursday attended a special awareness camp at Ryan School to educate parents about the self-enumeration process for Census 2027.

During the programme, the ADM informed parents that in the first phase of Census 2027, citizens can complete self-enumeration from May 7 to May 21. He said people can fill in their family details online from home using a mobile phone, laptop or computer.

School officials and teachers also explained the online process of submitting information through the self-enumeration portal. Teachers demonstrated how forms can be filled using mobile phones and online services.

Parents were told that the self-enumeration facility allows citizens to submit their details easily without visiting any office. The school administration said spreading awareness about online services is important under the Digital India campaign. Correct information and timely registration help improve government surveys and welfare schemes.

A large number of parents participated in the programme and got answers to their queries related to self-enumeration. The school management appealed to all parents to actively cooperate in the process.
