District Magistrate Directs Timely and Quality Completion of All Projects

Shahjahanpur: A review meeting of the ongoing construction projects under the Municipal Corporation was held at the Camp Office Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate assessed the progress of various projects being carried out by the Municipal Corporation and directed the executing agencies to ensure timely completion while maintaining high-quality standards.

He instructed that the construction of Hathoda Stadium must be completed by December 2025, and the swimming pool and running track by March 2026. A proposal for the construction of a gym hall at the hockey stadium should also be prepared promptly.

DM further directed that the construction of the Zonal Office and Senior Citizen Care Center in the Roza area must be completed by December 2025. The construction work of the Municipal Corporation office building should also be expedited.

The road construction from Keruganj to Maghai Tola is to be completed by the Public Works Department (PWD) by August 15, 2025. Installation of mast lights must be completed by November 30, 2025, and the music system by August 2025.

The District Magistrate also reviewed the renovation work of the Gandhi Bhavan Auditorium and instructed that a YouTube Studio be set up at the venue.

Additionally, he directed the Municipal Commissioner to prepare proposals for a road improvement plan within a week. He emphasized that the Stadium Road project must be completed at the earliest and that the Circuit House construction should be finished by October 2026.

The DM made it clear that the progress of construction projects will now be reviewed on a weekly basis, and all executing agencies will be required to present updates on their current status.

Present in the meeting were Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vipin Kumar Mishra, Additional Municipal Commissioner S.K. Singh, and Executive Engineer were present.
