As soon as the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into effect the district administration on the sunday. Shahjahanpur district administration and teams of the Municipal corporation pulled down as many as banners, posters of different political parties in the city area on Sunday evening.
City magistrate said all the guidelines of EC for MCC are followed. In the very first move, removal of all the hoardings, banners and posters of all the political parties from the public places, banners from the district.
Remember it , The Model Code of Conduct is a set of guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India for the conduct of political parties and candidates during elections mainly with respect to speeches, polling day, polling booths, portfolios, election manifestos, processions, and general conduct.
