Shahjahanpur: Action against 2 BLO so far for negligence in the voter list survey and from distribution work.
According to ADM Rajnish
Mishra review revealed that BLO Amendra Mohan of Booth No. 388 and BLO Anupam Verma of Booth No. 389 neither distributed the enumeration forms door-to-door nor ensured timely digitization of the forms received.
He said inspection was conducted by AERO and Naib Tehsildar Nishi Singh, accompanied by Supervisor Anoop Verma (Lekhpal). The investigation uncovered alarming shortcomings. At Booth No. 388, only 37 out of 1290 enumeration forms were digitized, while at Booth No. 389, merely 15 out of 1070 forms were processed , gross negligence reflects a worrying disregard for accountability in the election process. The inquiry further confirmed that both BLOs are employed as Shiksha Mitras under the Education Department.
Deputy District Election Officer Rajneesh Mishra has issued directives for strict action against the accused Shiksha Mitras. A recommendation has also been sent to the concerned department for termination of their services.
