Shahjahanpur: District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh chaired a review meeting at the Bismil Auditorium in the Collectorate to assess the progress of ongoing development projects being executed in the Municipal Corporation area.

Reviewing the status of various projects, the District Magistrate sought details regarding their progress and completion schedules and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials. He expressed displeasure over the absence of the Executive Engineer of Urban Jal Nigam from the meeting.

The DM directed officials to furnish details of the completion timelines of all projects and instructed that the re-tendering process for pending works be completed by May 30.

He directed the concerned agencies to complete the construction of the Planetarium, Multi-Level Parking Facility and Municipal Corporation Office by July 31. He also instructed officials to expedite the construction of the Senior Care Centre, Shopping Complex, Convention Centre and Urban Plaza.

Emphasising timely completion of development works, Singh directed all executing agencies to ensure that projects within the Municipal Corporation limits are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
