at Allahganj. its protest on the 14th day for the construction of a pontoon bridge at the Allahganj Wazirpur Ghat. During the protest, the District President of the Samajwadi Party, Tanveer Khan, encouraged the protesting leaders and workers who were on a hunger strike, stating that if the District Magistrate does not provide the approval letter within two days, the Samajwadi Party will be forced to stage a protest at the District Collectorate.
Former MLA Dalsingh Yadav also addressed the gathering, asserting that if the approval for the pontoon bridge is not granted soon, they would sit at the site in the same manner as they did at Kolaghat.
The protest is being led by Samajwadi Party leaders, including Ramveer Somvanshi, Member of the State Executive, Kamlesh Kumar Yadav, National Vice President of the Teacher’s Wing of Samajwadi Party, and Assembly President Surajpal Singh Yadav, along with hundreds of local villagers. The protestors are demanding the construction of a pontoon bridge at Wazirpur Ghat to ensure the region’s stalled development progresses and to resolve various local issues.
The hunger strike, which entered its 11th day, includes activists like Manoj Kumar Yadav, Prabhashankar Gupta, Raghunath Singh Yadav, Ranu Sharma, Kaushal Yadav, Arun Pratap Yadav, Atit Kumar Gupta, Baagi Sonu Kumar Yadav, Rahul Yadav, Rambahadur Ahivran Singh, Devisahay Yadav, Haribhan Singh Yadav, Baburam, and others. Their collective demand is for the pontoon bridge to be built at Wazirpur Ghat to boost local development.
A large number of local citizens have joined the protest, ensuring its success and taking responsibility for the movement. The protestors, from local leaders to villagers, all share the common goal of having the Wazirpur Ghat pontoon bridge constructed. Present at the protest were Samajwadi Party activists and revolutionaries like Parth Yadav, Shahab Khan, Ranu Khan, Naushad Khan, Dharmendra Kumar Bhole, and others, who have been tirelessly participating in the demonstration.
