Security beefed up on Kanwar Yatra route in shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur- District magistrate Dharmendra Pratap along with superintendent of police inspected the Kanwar Yatra routes, including key intersections in preparation for the upcoming influx of devotees and kanwarias during the month of Shrawan.
The inspection aimed to ensure smooth move to district Farrukhabad to gola gokannath
temple , facilitating easy viewing, water offerings and seamless movement for pilgrims.

Adequate arrangements
1,100 constables, 210 sub-inspectors, 17 inspectors, seven circle officers and 44 motorcycle patrol units have been deployed along the route to ensure the devotees’ safety.
Around 100 CCTV cameras have been installed along the stretch and linked to the district
DM gathered detailed information about the Kanwar Yatra route in the district all Tahsils.
District Magistrate also inspected rest camps and temporary shelters set up for Kanwar pilgrims.
The District Magistrate directed officials to ensure adequate parking facilities, clean drinking water, healthcare services, and all other essential amenities for the convenience and safety of the pilgrims. He emphasized that all arrangements should be completed in a timely manner to facilitate the smooth movement of devotees.
Chief Development Officer (CDO) Utkarsh Dwivedi, SP (Rural) Diksha Bhanware, Tilhar Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Neelima Yadav, Circle Officer (CO) Vidyut Saxena, along with other officials and staff members, were present during the inspection.
